Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ken De Dycke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stuart Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ken De Dycke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Stuart Johnson !
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Johnson .

Johnson moves into the clinch.

De Dycke is trying to break free.

De Dycke pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sloppy strikes from De Dycke. Those never looked like landing.
De Dycke avoids the body shot from Johnson .
Johnson doesn't manage to clinch there - De Dycke circles away.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but De Dycke paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Johnson thows a left - swing and a miss!

Johnson drives through and clinches with De Dycke against the cage.
Johnson is working De Dycke over against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

De Dycke pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Johnson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Johnson lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Johnson tries to throw a body punch but De Dycke avoids it by throwing Johnson back against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on De Dycke's face as he tries to break the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnson gets through De Dycke's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

De Dycke's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
De Dycke rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Johnson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
De Dycke throws a sloppy head kick and Johnson moves out of range easily.
Johnson throws out a counter right but De Dycke avoids it with no problem.
Johnson moves into range and connects with a jab.
De Dycke walks into a jab.
De Dycke tries to land a leg kick but Johnson saw it coming and moves away.

Johnson takes the fight into the clinch.
A nice right hand lands inside from Johnson .


De Dycke is rocked!
Johnson lands a hook to the side of the head.
Oh De Dycke is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Johnson dips a shoulder and cracks De Dycke with a mighty uppercut! De Dycke falls back against the cage and Johnson unloads with a barrage of strikes! De Dycke is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Johnson screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stuart Johnson !
In his post fight interview, Stuart Johnson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
