Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Colin Bonner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Zavic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Colin Bonner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Martin Zavic! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Darius Henderson and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bonner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Zavic counters with a body kick. Zavic misses with a series of wild punches.
A telegraphed right hand from Zavic misses the target. Bonner thinks about countering with a head kick. A lazy body kick from Zavic and Bonner counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Bonner is looking to take this fight into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bonner avoids the head kick by Zavic.
Bonner is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Zavic drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Bonner defends it well. Zavic scores with a hook to the body. Bonner takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zavic goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Bonner lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Bonner drops his hands momentarily and Zavic takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Zavic pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Zavic swings for the body but Bonner moves out of range.

Bonner fires out a quick counter leg kick but Zavic just manages to avoid it. Zavic tries a head kick but it misses.
Zavic comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Zavic is looking to land body kicks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zavic throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Bonner's head. Bonner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Zavic tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Zavic tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A swing and a miss from Zavic. Bonner tries to clinch but Zavic is having none of it. Bonner tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bonner walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Zavic checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Zavic unleashes a big counter combination but Bonner bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Bonner sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Zavic lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Bonner gets tackled into the cage by Zavic. Zavic maintains the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bonner trying to control the position but instead, Zavic has worked for underhooks and has pushed Bonner into the cage. Bonner tightens his grip and picks Zavic up, before dumping him to the ground. Zavic manages to land in guard. Bonner not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Bonner working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Zavic's head. Zavic is adopting a defensive guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zavic can do anything to dispel that myth. Bonner throwing strikes but missing. Bonner stays in close to Zavic's body and controls the position. Zavic trying to control the position.
Bonner controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zavic is trying to control the position but Bonner postures up. Zavic utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Bonner decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Zavic buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Zavic lands with a good body shot. Bonner wants to land a leg kick but Zavic is out of range. Martin Zavic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A head kick misses from Zavic. The fight moves into the clinch position. Bonner will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Zavic up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Martin Zavic dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Zavic tries to land a front kick but Bonner steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Bonner appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Zavic with a hook.
Bonner is rocked! A head kick by Zavic - that's a beauty! Bonner is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Zavic can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Martin Zavic! After winning the bout, Martin Zavic thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
