Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antero Mela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Roads (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Roads connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Roads just misses with a punch to the body.
Mela throws a looping overhand right but Roads ducks down to avoid it.
Roads throws the left hand but Mela avoids the punch easily.
Roads comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Roads throws a series of punches but Mela avoids them all with ease.
Mela cracks Roads with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Roads is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mela.
Roads feints a jab promting Mela to slip. Roads then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Mela slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Antero Mela has been cut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Damien Roads seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
