Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Lane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joel Kahn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Chris Lane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joel Kahn! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lane shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Kahn connects with a jab. Kahn misses with a takedown attempt - Lane sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kahn goes for a double leg but Lane avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lane continues to drive forward. Kahn lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Chris Lane has been cut. Kahn darts in and clinches Lane up against the cage. Kahn pulls guard. Kahn keeping moving, preventing Lane from controlling successfully. Kahn throws his legs up looking for a submission but Lane uses it to pass to side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lane trying to control the position but Kahn is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kahn wants to control but Lane postures up. A lull in the action here. Kahn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lane. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lane has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Kahn! Lane landing punches. Lane looking to ground and pound but Kahn is blocking nicely. Kahn tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lane throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Lane controlling from the full mount. Kahn is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Lane raining down shots from the mount! Lane lands with some strikes. Lane landing strikes from the mount. Kahn is squirming around, avoiding Lane's attempts to control the action. Lane landing punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lane lands a couple of good shots and Kahn has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Lane is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Kahn defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Lane is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Kahn is defending well though. Lane let's go of the attempt for now. Kahn looks winded! Lane tries to get the hooks in deep but Kahn pushed the leg off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kahn covering up well under a barage of strikes. Lane struggling to land strikes to the head as Kahn covers up. Lane keeps control of the position as Kahn tries to break free.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lane controlling the position well here. Kahn rolled but Lane kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Chris Lane dominated that round. The cut man is working on Chris Lane's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Kahn fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Lane misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kahn looks for a takedown but Lane sprawls well. Lane looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Lane tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kahn manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Kahn misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lane shoots for a takedown but Kahn saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lane darts in looking for a takedown but Kahn gets double underhooks and turns Lane into the cage. Kahn scores with a takedown into Lane's guard. Lane uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Chris Lane is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kahn dives in and scores a takedown into Lane's guard. Lane throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lane trying to control the position.
Lane working a defensive guard but Kahn passes into half guard.
Kahn tries to pass to full mount but Lane defends it. Lane looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lane gets full guard. Kahn won't allow Lane to sweep him here. Lane trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Kahn postures up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Lane leaves Kahn with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Chris Lane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joel Kahn.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lane scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Kahn stuffs the takedown attempt from Lane. Lane gets slowly back to his feet. Kahn dips to his left and cracks Lane with an uppercut! Lane throws a body kick that misses. Kahn closes the distance and pushes Lane back into the cage. Lane tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Lane is looking to take this one to the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kahn tries to land a knee to the head but Lane blocks with his arms.
Lane breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lane is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kahn's half guard. Kahn makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kahn decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Lane has one foot on Kahn's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Kahn looks for a takedown but Lane sprawls well. Lane shoots for a takedown but Kahn saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Joel Kahn will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Chris Lane's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kahn is defended easily by Lane. Kahn lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lane circles away quickly and effectively. Lane swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Kahn rushes Lane and presses him up against the cage. Kahn is working for takedown but Lane is calmly controlling the position for now. Lane goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kahn prevents it.
Lane wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kahn has him pressed against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kahn is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Lane pulls guard. Kahn takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kahn throws a big right hand that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lane is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kahn defends well. Kahn must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lane throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Kahn preventing the sweep. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lane is on top in guard.
Lane trying to control but Kahn is working from the bottom. Lane passes Kahn's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lane is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Kahn manages to get to full guard. Kahn has Lane pulled in close to control his posture. Lane trying to control the position from guard on top but Kahn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kahn working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Lane has passed into half guard!
Kahn is not content to let Lane control the position. Lane performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Lane prevents Kahn from improving his position. Lane is working for a submission of some sort.
Lane looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
And that's the end of the fight! Chris Lane showed his dominance in that final round. I think Lane has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
