Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alfie Frederick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dillon Weber!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frederick shoots in looking for a takedown but Weber manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Frederick's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Weber is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Weber looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Weber misses with a two punch combination.
Weber tries to bum rush Frederick with a series of wild strikes but Frederick uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Frederick clinches.

Frederick escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Frederick takes the fight into the clinch.

Frederick breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Weber throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frederick dives in for a single leg takedown but Weber sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Weber's coach down at Hybrid Fighting Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Weber's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Weber throws a nice looking combination but Frederick bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Frederick really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Frederick has control of Weber's left arm, preventing Weber from doing any damage.

Weber wants to stand but Frederick is controlling his posture from full guard.

Frederick is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Weber avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Frederick tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Weber defends well and Frederick ends up having to push Weber into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Weber lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Frederick shoots in and drives through. Weber sprawls well.
A nice side step and Weber releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Dillon Weber is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Frederick fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Weber leaves Frederick with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Weber moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Frederick misses with a low kick.
Despite the aggression on Weber's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Weber pushes Frederick away with a front kick.
Frederick takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Weber is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Frederick is defending well.

Frederick breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Frederick fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Frederick swats away the attempt to clinch by Weber.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Weber throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Frederick.
Weber throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Frederick counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Nice takedown defense from Weber. No joy for Frederick on that attempt.
It seemed like Weber was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Alfie Frederick is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Weber looking to slow down the pace here.
Frederick tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Weber just stands there and leans against the cage.

Frederick jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Weber walks away with a smile on his face. Frederick gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Dillon Weber seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Frederick wants to clinch up but Weber keeps it at a distance.

Frederick slips a jab and a cross from Weber.
Frederick shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Weber pinned against the cage. Weber gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Weber goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Frederick moves into range and clinches up with Weber.
Frederick is pushing Weber up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Weber misses with an attempted mid kick.
Frederick tries to counter by clinching up but Weber breaks away and moves out of range.
Frederick closes this distance looking for a takedown but Weber circles away.
Frederick throws a half hearted mid kick.

Weber breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Frederick shoots in for a double leg but Weber sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Weber misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Weber throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Frederick.
