Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Max Madwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Max Madwell has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Max Madwell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madwell with a lazy takedown attempt
and Tyson counters with a two punch combo.
Tyson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Madwell fails to land with a series of punches.
Madwell fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Tyson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Madwell circles away quickly and effectively.
Madwell throws a sloppy body shot
letting Tyson counter with a right hand.
Madwell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tyson tries to avoid it but Madwell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tyson to the ground. Tyson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Madwell. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Madwell shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Madwell showed some decent athleticism there.
Tyson pushes Madwell off but Madwell dives into side control.

Tyson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Madwell looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

It looks like George Tyson has been cut.
Tyson throws a series of punches but Madwell avoids them all with ease.

Tyson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Madwell circles away quickly and effectively.
Madwell rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tyson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Madwell dives in for a single leg takedown but Tyson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Madwell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tyson feints the counter takedown.
Madwell dodges the punch combination from Tyson.

Tyson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tyson there as he acknowledges the shot.

Tyson throws a combination that misses

so Madwell counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Madwell sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tyson's guard.
Madwell seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Madwell lands with a punch from half guard.
Madwell not doing much here.
Madwell has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

This is a sustained period of stalling by Madwell.
Madwell looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tyson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Madwell scores with a big shot! Tyson's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Tyson! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
