Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Adriano Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Adriano Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Felix Jones!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Leandro Rodrigues and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones.
A swing and a miss from Silva.
Jones takes the fight into the clinch.
Jones doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Silva wants to break the clinch but can't.
Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A right-left combo lands from Silva.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva misses with a head kick.
Jones closes the distance and pushes Silva back into the cage.
Silva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Silva really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Silva tries to sprawl but Jones drives through with a takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva regains full guard. Nicely done.
Jones working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Silva's head.

Silva scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Jones looks for a takedown but Silva sprawls well.
Silva misses with a hook.
Silva lands with an overhand left.
Silva misses with a wild body shot.
Jones changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Jones shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jones showed some decent athleticism there.
Jones seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silva manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Jones keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Silva to keep the fight standing.
Jones fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Adriano Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Felix Jones.
Jones manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Silva advances to half guard.
Jones is refusing to be controlled, as Silva sits in half guard.
Silva looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Silva is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jones is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Silva tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jones knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Jones is refusing to be controlled, as Silva sits in half guard.
Jones is looking for a sweep. Silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Silva is trying to control the action in half guard but Jones is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Silva is pressing down on Jones's thigh, looking to free his foot. Jones is holding on for now.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Jones is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Silva has latched onto it... Big trouble! Silva pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Jones is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Silva!
