Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dann clinches with his opponent.
Fournier avoiding damage.
Dann breaks the clinch.
Dann feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Dann not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Dann rushes Fournier and presses him up against the cage.
Dann breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dann closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dann lands in his opponent's guard.

Fournier pulls Dann in close to his closed guard and prevents Dann from doing any damage or advancing position.
