Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Carter Fitzgerald!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and Michael Johnstone.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzgerald connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Romero looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
A solid leg kick lands there for Fitzgerald.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Romero crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Fitzgerald - the referee stops the clock and Romero gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Fitzgerald. Romero manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Romero 's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Fitzgerald connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Romero scrambles back to his feet.
Fitzgerald fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Romero has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Romero takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Fitzgerald throws a head kick but Romero moves out of range.
A little feinted left hand from Romero on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Nice straight punches there by Fitzgerald. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Fitzgerald.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Both fighters circling a little - Fitzgerald finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Romero shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Fitzgerald lands a jab to Romero 's midsection.
Romero chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Fitzgerald can pounce on him.
Fitzgerald scores with a kick to the body.
Romero walks forward, straight into a front kick from Fitzgerald.
Fitzgerald just misses with a punch to the body.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Fitzgerald, right into the meat.
Romero steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Fitzgerald. That one must have hurt.
Fitzgerald lands with a nice body punch.
Romero takes one to the chin there.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Fitzgerald.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd cheers as Fitzgerald lands an impressive looking overhand right. Romero doesn't seem phased though.
Romero on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Fitzgerald throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Romero will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

Romero is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Fitzgerald connects with a jab.
Fitzgerald circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Romero drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Fitzgerald follows Romero to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
