Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Fumire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Prince Rogers Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Prince Rogers Nelson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jackson Fumire! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Prince Rogers Nelson! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A jab from Rogers Nelson finds it's way through Fumire's defenses. A slow jab from Rogers Nelson misses its intended target. Jab from Rogers Nelson. Rogers Nelson misses with a straight left. Fumire will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. A big left from Rogers Nelson misses. Fumire scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Fumire tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Fumire has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Rogers Nelson is looking to regain half guard here but Fumire keeps moving and retains side control. Fumire tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fumire tries for a kimura but Rogers Nelson is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rogers Nelson can't do much from the bottom here. Fumire working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Rogers Nelson tries to buck Fumire off but Fumire is having none of it. Fumire is working to tighten his grip on Rogers Nelson's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Rogers Nelson has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Fumire is really squeezing tight and eventually Rogers Nelson passes out! Fumire breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
