Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
20 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Norman Vizcarra!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Fedor Mirinova and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Vizcarra.
Vizcarra gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Vizcarra feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mela's calf.
Mela scores with a jab to the body.
Mela lands with a hook. Vizcarra tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Vizcarra misses the jab.
Vizcarra throws a hook to the side of Mela's head but Mela sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mela ducks under a wild hook from Vizcarra.
Vizcarra lands a head kick!
Some wild striking there from Vizcarra.
Vizcarra looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mela takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Vizcarra swings for the body but Mela moves out of range.
Mela takes a swing at Vizcarra's ribcage but misses.
Norman Vizcarra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vizcarra scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Vizcarra misses with an uppercut
and Mela connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Norman Vizcarra has been cut.
Mela tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vizcarra was well out of range. Poor timing from Mela.
Norman Vizcarra is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Vizcarra throws a push kick but Mela slaps the foot to one side.
Vizcarra scores with the left hand. Mela knows he should have avoided that one.
The crowd cheers as Mela lands an impressive looking overhand right. Vizcarra doesn't seem phased though.
Mela throws a looping overhand right but Vizcarra ducks down to avoid it.
Mela looks to land a right hand but Vizcarra moved out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Vizcarra! But no joy.
A jab from Vizcarra misses.
Vizcarra just misses with a punch to the body.
Vizcarra misses with a head kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vizcarra looks to throw a body kick
so Mela counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Mela sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Vizcarra's guard.
Mela with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Vizcarra wants to control but Mela is keeping busy.
Mela landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Well, if Mela is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Mela is thwarting Vizcarra's attempts to control the position.

Ground and pound from Mela.
Mela is taking a breather. Vizcarra says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Mela maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Vizcarra could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Mela has cracked it and Vizcarra is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Mela!
