Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Santiago Guzman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Santiago Guzman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Stan Bradley!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, David Schapiro and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bradley doesn't manage to clinch there - Guzman circles away.

Guzman gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bradley to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Bradley slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bradley throws a big elbow that misses.

Guzman looking to control.
Guzman has control of Bradley's left arm, preventing Bradley from doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bradley trying to stand up but can't free himself from Guzman's guard.
Guzman has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Bradley stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bradley wants it to stay on the feet.
Bradley thinks about the counter body kick.

Bradley shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Guzman napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Bradley wants to lay and pray for a moment but Guzman keeps working.

Bradley decides to stand up, so the ref orders Guzman to his feet.

Bradley stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Guzman swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Guzman is pulling down on Bradley's head. It's preventing any offense from Bradley, at least for the moment.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Oooooh!!! Bradley has knocked Guzman down with a huge combo! Bradley steps away and waves a wobbly Guzman back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


It looks like Santiago Guzman has been cut.

Guzman gets caught napping as Bradley dives in and scores a takedown. Guzman manages to retain guard.


Guzman is rocked!
Guzman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Oh Guzman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Guzman is breathing heavily.
Bradley stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Guzman swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Guzman seems to have got his legs back now.
Bradley looking to sit in guard and control but Guzman gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.


Guzman drops back looking for a leg! Bradley is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bradley manages to kick Guzman off! Guzman jumps back into Bradley's guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bradley looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stan Bradley dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Santiago Guzman's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Bradley looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Bradley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Guzman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Guzman is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Guzman controls Bradley momentarily but Bradley frees himself.
Bradley slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Bradley misses with a head kick.
Bradley misses with a double jab.
An attempted straight right counter from Guzman misses the target.

Bradley closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Guzman's guard.
Guzman is controlling Bradley's posture.
Bradley trying to control the position from guard on top but Guzman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Guzman is pulling down on Bradley's head to control his posture.

Guzman wants to control but Bradley is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Bradley blocks the strikes from Guzman.
Bradley is pressing down on Guzman's thigh, looking to free his foot. Guzman is holding on for now.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bradley displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Guzman.

Bradley shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Guzman napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Guzman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Bradley controls the position.

Guzman tries to bench press Bradley off him but Bradley keeps the position.

Bradley has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Bradley throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Guzman throws a looping overhand right but Bradley ducks down to avoid it.

Bradley closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bradley lands in his opponent's guard.

Guzman wants to sweep here but Bradley controlling him for the moment.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bradley wants to control from the top but Guzman keeps moving.

Well Bradley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
