Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Norman Crowley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spike Reaper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crowley comes to the cage accompanied by Iron Man - Black Sabbath. Reaper has chosen Boom as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Norman Crowley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 25 - 0, fighting out of London, Spike Reaper!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crowley throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Crowley scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Crowley is looking to land body kicks.

Reaper gets tackled into the cage by Crowley. Crowley maintains the clinch.
Reaper goes for a takedown in the clinch but Crowley prevents it.
Reaper is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Crowley is defending well.

Crowley has Reaper pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Crowley pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Reaper tumbling to the mat - Crowley dives into Reaper's guard.

Reaper has an active guard here but Crowley has managed to pass into half guard.

Well, if Crowley is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Reaper misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Crowley looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Crowley content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Reaper told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Crowley perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Crowley keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

Reaper is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Crowley pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Crowley seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Reaper looking for submissions off his back.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Crowley is taking a breather. Reaper says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Crowley moves into the clinch.
Reaper takes a knee right on the jaw!

Crowley is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Reaper can't fight it off and eventually Crowley manages to take the fight to the floor. Reaper looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Reaper is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Crowley controls from within his opponent's guard.
Crowley passes Reaper's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Crowley is controlling the pace.
Crowley has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Norman Crowley dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Crowley lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!


It looks like Spike Reaper has been cut.
Crowley jerks Reaper's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Reaper drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Crowley goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Crowley because Reaper was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Norman Crowley!
A relieved looking Norman Crowley thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
