Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigo Mcfadden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ernest Ashman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rodrigo Mcfadden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ernest Ashman! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcfadden tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ashman manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Mcfadden closes the distance looking to clinch and Ashman counters with a nice double leg into guard. Ashman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Mcfadden pulls Ashman in close to his closed guard and prevents Ashman from doing any damage or advancing position. Mcfadden wants to control the position but Ashman says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ashman takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Mcfadden wants to get back to his feet.
Ashman seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcfadden is in trouble now - Ashman has advanced to mount! Mcfadden is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Ashman lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Mcfadden hang on? Ashman controlling from the full mount. Ashman lands a couple of good shots and Mcfadden has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
Mcfadden is rocked! Ashman scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Mcfadden is looking for a way out. Oh Mcfadden is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Ashman lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Ashman is raining down hard shots and and Mcfadden has had enough - he's tapped out due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Ernest Ashman!
