Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sandayu Momochi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petr Kropotkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kropotkin has chosen Distress - Progress/Regress as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Momochi slips a straight right by Kropotkin.
Kropotkin misses with a body shot.
Momochi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kropotkin's waist but Kropotkin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Momochi off to one side.
A nice side step and Kropotkin releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Kropotkin has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Momochi is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Momochi is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kropotkin doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Momochi .
Momochi tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kropotkin knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Kropotkin is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Momochi 's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Momochi 's back!

Kropotkin is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Momochi won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Kropotkin off his unconscious opponent!
