Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Malakai Rex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duke Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Malakai Rex! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Duke Rage! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Jorge Garcia and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rex has closed the distance and engaged Rage in a clinch.
Rex is trying to break free. Rex working some nice short punches in the clinch. With the fighters up against the cage, Rex throws an elbow but misses. Rex throws a punch but it's blocked by Rage. Rage avoiding damage as Rex throws knees to the body.
Rage works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Rage displaying some good clinch control by pressing Rex up against the cage. Rex swings wildly with an uppercut but Rage uses good head movement to avoid it. Rage pushes Rex back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Rex misses with a hook from the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A left hand lands to the body for Rage.
Rex is breathing heavily. Rage softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Rex throws a punch but it's blocked by Rage. Rex missing with knees to the body.
Rex using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Rage has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Rage works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rage scores with a hook to the body. A left hand lands to the body for Rage.
Rage lands a body punch. Rage scores with an uppercut up the middle. A short body shot lands from Rage as the two fighters clinch.
Rage lands a nice uppercut. Rage lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Rex takes a shot to the head. Rage pushes Rex back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Rage is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. A nice left hand lands by Rage.
Rage working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Rex. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rex misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Rage.
Rage drops Rex onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Rex is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Rex is rocked! Rage digs a right hand underneath Rex's ribcage. Rex let out a lung full of air as it connected. Oh Rex is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Rex takes a shot to the head. The referee is keeping an eye on Rage - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rage stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Rage throws a big uppercut that drops Rex! More strikes from Rage and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Rex lies dazed against the cage as Rage celebrates with his cornermen!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Duke Rage!
