Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tajveer Thiara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dingda Doongda!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thiara closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Thiara has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Doongda tries to roll over but Thiara keeps him under control.
Thiara working over Doongda with some ground and pound. Doongda looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Thiara gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Thiara darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Doongda is trying to control but can't.
Thiara passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Doongda!

Doongda keeps trying to improve his position.

Doongda tries to lock up and control but Thiara gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Thiara has control of Doongda's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Doongda regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Doongda wants to hold on but Thiara pushes him away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.

Thiara lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Thiara is landing with some decent strikes but Doongda is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
