The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Leija , right into the meat.
That kick from Leija tenderised Reznick's leg. Reznick is trying to keep his angry face on.
Reznick connects with a looping right hand.
Leija throws a hook but Reznick blocks it.
A nice leg kick lands there from Reznick.
Leija scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Reznick shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Leija is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alfredo Leija dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Reznick feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Leija sprawling to the canvas! Leija rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Reznick finish him?!

It looks like Alfredo Leija has been cut.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Reznick in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Leija tries to get into range but Reznick steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Leija ! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Reznick scores the big KO victory!
