PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kid Cudi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cudi comes to the ring accompanied by King Wizard. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cudi looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Lee appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Cudi connects with a leg kick. Lee looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Cudi throws a jab but it's blocked by Lee.
Cudi has a takedown stuffed.
Cudi throws a shot to the body.
Cudi shoots in but no luck this time.
Lee displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cudi throws out the jab.
Cudi fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kid Cudi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Lee has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lee. Cudi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cudi was well out of range. Poor timing from Lee.
Lee avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Brandon Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lee fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cudi manages to avoid it.
Cudi throws a hook but Lee avoids it easily.
Lee fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cudi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Cudi lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Cudi looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Good work by Lee as he checks the leg kick.
Lee swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lee looks to land a combination but Cudi avoids it well.

A countering left hand to the body from Lee misses.
Lee looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lee fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cudi manages to avoid it.
Cudi fires out a quick counter leg kick but Lee just manages to avoid it.
Cudi works Lee's body with a nice hook.
Lee avoids the body shot from Cudi.
Lee throws out a counter right but Cudi avoids it with no problem.
Lee scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Cudi connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Cudi shoots in looking for a takedown but Lee manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cudi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Despite the aggression on Lee's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Lee takes a swing at Cudi's ribcage but misses.
Lee throws out a powerful jab.

Cudi is rocked!
Lee drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Cudi's head, knocking him out cold! Lee is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brandon Lee!
Brandon Lee bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
Kid Cudi was interviewed post fight and said 'Fuck everybody up in this arena. Ain't nobody thinking bout yo fat asses anyway.'.
