Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between DJ Boom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rhys Frazier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DJ Boom could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rhys Frazier's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, DJ Boom! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Rhys Frazier! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boom misses with an uppercut
and Frazier counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Boom misses with an uppercut
and Frazier counters with a right hand to the body. Boom lands with an overhand left.
It looks like Rhys Frazier has been cut. Frazier keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Boom. Boom throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Boom has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Beast in the buildup to the fight. Boom ducks right into an uppercut from Frazier. Frazier moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like DJ Boom has been cut. Boom misses with an uppercut
and Frazier counters with a nice body shot. Boom misses with a straight right. DJ Boom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Boom ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Frazier moves away. Frazier is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Boom avoids a punch combination nicely.
Boom throws a body punch but Frazier moves out of range. Frazier throws a counter combo. Boom throws a hook to the side of Frazier's head but Frazier sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big right from Frazier misses. Boom swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Frazier flicks out a counter leg kick but Boom steps away. The fighters circle momentarily. Boom darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Frazier jabs at Boom's body. Boom lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Frazier is rocked! Frazier uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Boom. Frazier wants to counter with a clinch but Boom pushes him away. Frazier scores with the left hand. Boom knows he should have avoided that one. Boom steps in with a hook that catches Frazier right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Boom follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Frazier looks absolutely devastated.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). DJ Boom! Our winner, DJ Boom, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
