The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lovrenc shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. House manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
House throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
House tries to land a sweep but no joy.

House drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lovrenc looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lovrenc looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lovrenc!

House regains half guard.
Lovrenc looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks House with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Lovrenc really doesn't want to stay on the ground with House. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
House is staying active underneath Lovrenc, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Lovrenc lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

House really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Lovrenc is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and House defends it well.

Lovrenc is keen to just control but House is a slippery customer.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Lovrenc connects with a nice short shot to House's temple.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
