Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rafael MT (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chico Feijo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rafael MT has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rafael MT! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Chico Feijo! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Matheus Silva and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Feijo drives through with a takedown into guard. Feijo showing good wrestling skills to control the position. I looks like Feijo might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. MT is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Feijo slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Feijo is working MT over with some ground and pound from side control. You can see the frustration on MT's face as Feijo controls the position.
Despite being in the dominant position, Chico Feijo just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. MT tries to clinch up. MT is looking to clinch but Feijo is avoiding it.
Feijo misses with a wild body shot. Feijo swats away the attempt to clinch by MT.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Feijo tries to clinch there but MT circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Feijo looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Feijo circles away from the clinch attempt and Feijo counters into the clinch. Nicely done. A right handed body shot lands from Feijo.

Feijo goes for a takedown attempt but MT pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
MT tries to clinch but fails miserably and Feijo counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Feijo lands with a punch from half guard. Feijo is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and MT reverses the position - he's now on top in Feijo's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Feijo pulls MT in close to prevent any damage. MT won't allow Feijo to sweep him here. Feijo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in MT's guard. Feijo controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Feijo won't allow MT to get back to his feet. Feijo stays in close to MT's body and controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Let's hope that Feijo has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chico Feijo dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Feijo wants to clinch up but MT keeps it at a distance. Feijo tries to close the distance and clinch up but MT swats him away and circles back towards the center. Feijo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming MT to the mat! MT manages to get full guard. Feijo forces his way into half guard. Feijo trying to control the pace. Feijo works his way into full mount! MT is trying to stand. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

MT throws a head kick that misses and Feijo counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Feijo not landing any meaningful shots this time. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Feijo tries to pass the half guard into mount. MT knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Feijo is taking a breather. MT says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Well, if Feijo is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Feijo has had enough of the clinch but MT keeps him there for the moment. MT trying to land knees to the body.

Feijo trying to stall but MT improves his position.
Feijo lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Feijo drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. MT blocks an uppercut.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Feijo throws a head punch that misses. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Feijo. MT tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. MT creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Feijo's defenses. Feijo goes for a takedown attempt but MT pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Feijo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Feijo takes the fight into the clinch. MT wants to stall.
Feijo wants to get back to striking at distance but MT won't allow it.
MT blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Feijo wants to break the clinch but can't.
MT throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Feijos head. MT lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Feijo throws a head punch that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. MT is trying to stall.
Feijo is trying to break free. MT trying to control the position but instead, Feijo has worked for underhooks and has pushed MT into the cage. MT using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Feijo has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
MT is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. A body shot lands from Feijo.
Feijo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. MT avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Rafael MT has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chico Feijo. Nice elbow from MT. Feijo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. MT tries to clinch up and Feijo counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in MT's guard now. MT looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Feijo has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Feijo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's three minutes gone in the round. MT is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Feijo advances to half guard. Feijo wants to free his trapped foot but MT is holding on for dear life with his legs. Feijo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Chico Feijo is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Feijo passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for MT! Chico Feijo has got the better of the ground game so far. Feijo lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Rafael MT has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Feijo content just to control the position here.
And that's the end of the fight! Chico Feijo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Feijo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
