Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juan Cabrillo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kenny McCormick!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A good leg kick by McCormick.
McCormick misses with a looping right.
McCormick throws a chopping leg kick but Cabrillo manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Cabrillo shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches McCormick napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Cabrillo creates some space and throws a big elbow, but McCormick sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
McCormick is looking for a sweep.
McCormick is trying to control Cabrillo's posture but Cabrillo avoids it.
McCormick is not content to let Cabrillo control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cabrillo throws a strike aimed at the side of McCormick's head but McCormick avoids it well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
McCormick is continuing to stall.
Cabrillo really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of McCormick's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position.
McCormick has good solid back control here.

It seemed like McCormick was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Cabrillo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McCormick moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as McCormick holds on and takes a little breather.

That was a close second round but I would say that Juan Cabrillo will probably get the nod.

McCormick feints and then cracks Cabrillo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Cabrillo down.

Cabrillo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McCormick as he jumps to the side.

McCormick is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Cabrillo tries to bum rush McCormick with a series of wild strikes but McCormick uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

McCormick is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cabrillo's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cabrillo's back!
McCormick keeps control of the position easily here as Cabrillo tries to buck him off.

Well McCormick has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
