Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bubba Ho Tep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Smasher Money (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Money has chosen Gives You Hell as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Smasher Money looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Smasher Money ! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Money shoots in but no luck this time. Money circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ho Tep bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Ho Tep connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Money some visible discomfort.
Ho Tep is chipping away with strikes.
Ho Tep wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Money , who protects the arm well. Ho Tep thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Money wants to get back to his feet but Ho Tep drags him back down. Ho Tep creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Money sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Money tries to buck Ho Tep off but Ho Tep is having none of it. Money looks gassed! Ho Tep thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Money is looking for a sweep.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ho Tep tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Ho Tep decides to stand up. The fight moves into the clinch position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ho Tep forces Money back against the cage and clinches. Ho Tep has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Money avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Money tries to roll over but Ho Tep keeps him under control. Ho Tep is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Money taking some punishment here, with Ho Tep in his half guard. Money is breathing heavily. Money won't allow Ho Tep to pass to mount. Money has hold of Ho Tep's hands but Ho Tep slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Money holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Ho Tep seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Ho Tep is keen to just control but Money is a slippery customer. Ho Tep looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Money is trying to get back to full guard. Ho Tep stands up out of the half guard. Ho Tep drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Ho Tep avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Ho Tep could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ho Tep cracks Money with a solid left hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ho Tep has gone for a leg lock! Money slips out almost immediately though and dives into Ho Tep's guard. Ho Tep wants to sweep but no luck. Ho Tep keeping moving, preventing Money from controlling successfully. Ho Tep trying to strike off his back.
Money advances to half guard. It looks like Money is going to stand back up.

Money trying to control the position from guard on top but Ho Tep is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ho Tep bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Money 's guard. Ho Tep lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Ho Tep stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Money swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ho Tep slips nicely into half guard. Ho Tep is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Money defends it well. Money is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Money keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Money is looking to escape. Nice strikes from Ho Tep there. Ho Tep looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Ho Tep lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Ho Tep is keen to just control but Money is a slippery customer. Money is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Ho Tep's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Ho Tep's back! Ho Tep trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Ho Tep might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Ho Tep tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Ho Tep bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Ho Tep is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Money has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Ho Tep is looking to defend but Money has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Ho Tep! Money pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Ho Tep taps out and this one is all over!
