Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Black Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sitting Bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Black Hawk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sitting Bull! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Hawk gets the takedown into side control. Hawk looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Bull gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Hawk is trying to control. Bull wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Bull missing with punches from the bottom.
Bull throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Hawk tries to pass to full mount but Bull defends it. Bull throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Bull flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Hawk trying to mount his opponent but Bull defends it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hawk is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Bull sees it coming and defends easily. Bull misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Hawk is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bull defends it well. Bull flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hawk is looking for a kimura but Bull is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hawk to get the leverage. Hawk moves nicely into side control. Bull throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. Bull throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. Hawk is trying to get an arm triangle but Bull is defending well. Bull manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hawk is working for a kimura but Bull is defending it quite comfortably.

Hawk is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hawk is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bull doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hawk.

Hawk passes Bull's left leg - he's now in half guard. Bull tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Hawk tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bull knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Hawk is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bull striking from the bottom. Hawk works his way into full mount! Hawk blocks Bull's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Hawk trying to control but Bull is having none of it. Hawk misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Hawk looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Bull is squirming around, avoiding Hawk's attempts to control the action. Hawk blocks Bull's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hawk trying to control but Bull is having none of it. Hawk blocks Bull's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Bull is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Hawk jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Bull manages to avoid the submission attempt. Bull tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hawk is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bull is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bull striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
The ground and pound from Hawk seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Bull is not content to let Hawk control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Black Hawk dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bull blocks a head kick by Hawk.
Bull with the counter takedown but Hawk avoids it easily. Black Hawk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hawk scores with a takedown into Bull's guard. Bull striking off his back but it's not causing Hawk any problems. Hawk wants to control from the top but Bull keeps moving. Bull throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bull bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hawk's guard.
Black Hawk overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Bull throws a big right hand that misses. Bull postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hawk is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bull, into his guard. Bull throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Bull can't keep his opponent in guard - Hawk advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Bull missing with punches from the bottom.
Hawk passes to side control. Hawk tries for a kimura but Bull is defending well. Hawk wants to control but Bull is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hawk has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Bull is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hawk yanks on the arm and Bull is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hawk.
