The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shore slips a jab from Boromir.
Boromir feints and then cracks Shore's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Shore down.

It looks like Captain Boromir has been cut.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Boromir.
We've been informed that Boromir has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Boromir throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

And Boromir responds with a good body kick, but Shore manages to step out the way in time.
Shore feints and as Boromir raises his hands in defense, Shore changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Shore postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Boromir is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Shore, into his guard.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Shore's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Oooooh!!! Boromir has knocked Shore down with a huge combo! Boromir steps away and waves a wobbly Shore back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
