Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kumi Keijo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justice Ngwenya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Justice Ngwenya has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kumi Keijo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Justice Ngwenya!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ngwenya scores with a kick to the midsection.
Ngwenya pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Keijo went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Ngwenya looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Ngwenya trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Keijo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ngwenya is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ngwenya's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Ngwenya is pushing down on Keijo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Keijo is fighting to maintain full guard but Ngwenya has managed to sneak the leg through.
Ngwenya is pressing down on Keijo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Keijo is holding on for now.

Ngwenya stands up and beckons Keijo to join him on the feet.

Ngwenya closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Keijo has one foot on Ngwenya's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Keijo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ngwenya defends well and Keijo ends up having to push Ngwenya into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Ngwenya lands an overhand right.

Ngwenya is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Keijo's half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Keijo has one foot on Ngwenya's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Ngwenya shoots in and gets a takedown into Keijo's guard.
Ngwenya engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Keijo is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Ngwenya not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
It looks like Ngwenya might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Keijo wants to get back to his feet but Ngwenya is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Ngwenya stands up from Keijo's guard - Ngwenya perhaps looking for a knockout.

Ngwenya closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Ngwenya working over Keijo with some ground and pound. Keijo looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Keijo is trying to stand up here but Ngwenya is controlling him well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Keijo cracks Ngwenya with an open hand slap.

Ngwenya throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Keijo was covering up waiting for the punch and Ngwenya finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Keijo wants to stand but Ngwenya is controlling the position.
Ngwenya passes Keijo's left leg - he's now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ngwenya frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Ngwenya goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Keijo is on top in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ngwenya pulls Keijo in close to prevent any damage.

Keijo stands and steps away. Ngwenya gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Ngwenya throws a right and a left that Keijo avoids nicely.
Ngwenya has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Keijo looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Keijo circles away from the clinch attempt
enabling Keijo to counter with a crisp jab.

Ngwenya shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ngwenya was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Ngwenya prevents Keijo from escaping the position.
Ngwenya slows the pace down.
Ngwenya with more of the same as he continues to hold on.
Keijo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Keijo is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Ngwenya is controlling him well.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ngwenya. Keijo does a little dance to reset his feet.
A little feinted left hand from Keijo on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Keijo tries to sprawl but Ngwenya drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Keijo pushes Ngwenya off but Ngwenya dives into side control.
You can see the frustration on Keijo's face as Ngwenya controls the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ngwenya in side control, throwing shots but Keijo defends.
Keijo tries to escape but Ngwenya is in control.
Keijo being controlled for a moment.
Ngwenya with the ground and pound but Keijo regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Ngwenya connects with a nice short shot to Keijo's temple.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Justice Ngwenya will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! Keijo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Keijo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Ngwenya drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Keijo is being controlled here.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ngwenya swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Keijo is now in Ngwenya's guard. A big mistake from Ngwenya there, giving up the dominant position!
Keijo wanted to stand there but Ngwenya had control of the position.
Ngwenya looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Keijo puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Kumi Keijo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Ngwenya has his hands clasped together around Keijo's back. He's all about the action.

Ngwenya manages to escape and get back to his feet!

And that's the end of the fight!
Justice Ngwenya comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ngwenya has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
