The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
I Am The shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Wu counters with a stiff right hand.

enabling Wu to counter with a crisp jab.
A decent looking cross lands there for Wu.

and Wu counters with a straight right hand.

I Am The definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

I Am The shoots for a double leg takedown but Wu sprawls well. He's pushed I Am The's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Wu has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Johnny I Am The seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wu scores with a jab to the head.

Wu lands a nice hook to I Am The's body. I Am The takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
I Am The tries for a takedown but Wu circles away easily
and Wu counters with a stiff right hand.

I Am The is breathing heavily.
I Am The gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Wu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wu lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Wu might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Wu lunges at I Am The with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by I Am The's hand.
Wu connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent I Am The tumbling to the canvas! Wu pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! I Am The was done - good stoppage!
