Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jamos Ramon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Michael Thomas!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramon showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Thomas.
Thomas slips a jab and a cross from Ramon.

Ramon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Ramon doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Thomas counters with a stiff right hand.
Thomas dodges the punch combination from Ramon.
Ramon tries to clinch but Thomas moves out of range.

It looks like Michael Thomas has been cut.
A combination from Ramon does no damage.
Ramon sets himself, and Thomas steps forward looking for the clinch! Ramon avoids it this time.

Ramon is trying to control the position but Thomas postures up.

Thomas got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ramon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Thomas has managed to get both his arms back between Ramon's legs - danger averted.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Thomas working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Thomas feints a jab promting Ramon to slip. Thomas then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ramon slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Ramon rushes Thomas and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Thomas throws a jab but it's blocked by Ramon.
Ramon darts in looking for a takedown but Thomas gets double underhooks and turns Ramon into the cage.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Thomas! But no joy.

Thomas should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Ramon shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Thomas napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

A punch lands to the side of Thomas 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Ramon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Thomas looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ramon has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ramon enables Thomas to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ramon manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
