Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Renato Cotton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Muhammad Terry!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Winston Howard and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Terry throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cotton.
Cotton on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Cotton rushes Terry and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Terry tries to break free but Cotton pushes him back against the cage.
Terry breaks from the clinch.
Cotton fails with a takedown attempt.
Terry throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Cotton counters with a stiff right hand.
A jab-cross combination lands for Terry and sends Cotton crashing to the mat! Terry follows him down to the mat - Cotton regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
Cotton is rocked!
It looks like Renato Cotton has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Terry creates some space for himself and unloads with a monster right hand! That one landed with a sickening thud - Cotton is out cold and this one is all over! Terry climbs onto the cage to celebrate with his corner!! He's shouting something into the camera but he's still got his mouthpiece in so God knows what he's actually saying.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Muhammad Terry!
