Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Obispo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ford pinned against the cage. Ford gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Horrible takedown by Obispo or perhaps it was just good defense by Ford which made him look bad.
Obispo fails with a takedown attempt.
Josie Jo Ford has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Guapo Obispo.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Obispo misses with a takedown attempt - Ford sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Obispo shoots for a takedown but Ford saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Obispo shoots in for a double leg but Ford sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Obispo moves out of range of the body kick from Ford.
No luck for Obispo with that takedown attempt.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Obispo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ford as he avoids it easily.
Obispo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ford to the mat! Ford manages to get full guard.
Obispo wants to pass the guard but Ford is keeping the position.
Obispo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Ford is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Obispo, into his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josie Jo Ford dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Guapo Obispo's cut.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ford.

Ford has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Obispo is breathing heavily.
Ford throws a quick head kick that knocks Obispo silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Ford is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
