Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jack Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Barclay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Patton comes to the cage accompanied by Motorhead - Iron Fist. Barclay has chosen I Am The Walrus as his entrance music. Jack Patton had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Patton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Andy Barclay! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barclay misses with a wild body shot. Barclay throws a right and a left that both miss. Barclay darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Patton throws a head kick that Barclay semi-blocks.
It looks like Andy Barclay has been cut. Patton throws a sloppy head kick and Barclay makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. We've been informed that Barclay has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Patton lands with a thumping leg kick.
A slow jab from Patton misses its intended target. Patton swats away the attempt to clinch by Barclay. Patton takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Barclay looks to land a right hand but Patton moved out of range. Barclay ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Barclay delivers a nice body kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Patton misses with a head kick.
Patton's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Barclay connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Patton scrambles back to his feet. Patton misses with a double jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barclay moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Barclay punishes Patton's body with a nice straight punch. Barclay stuns Patton with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Barclay lands a nice looking body shot.
Barclay moves into the clinch successfully.
Barclay tries a body shot but Patton blocks it.
Patton has had enough of the clinch but Barclay keeps him there for the moment. Barclay breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Barclay lands a leg kick that knocks Patton off balance momentarily. Barclay stuns Patton with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Andy Barclay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Patton scores with a nice strike. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Barclay swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Barclay throws a hook to the side of Patton's head but Patton sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. It looked like Patton was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Barclay connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Patton's hands. Patton pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Barclay looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Barclay moves forwards but Patton connects with a nice, crisp jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Patton scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Barclay cracks the inside of Patton's front leg. Barclay closes the distance and clinches. Barclay escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Patton connects with a leg kick. Barclay looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Barclay throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. A combination from Patton does no damage. Barclay fakes the leg kick and cracks Patton in the body. Barclay is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Patton rather than just go for the knockout. Barclay wants to clinch but Patton slips to the side and Patton counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Barclay comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. The fighters circling - Patton throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Barclay digs a good body shot into Patton's ribs. Patton misses with a low kick.
Patton takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Barclay throws a sloppy body shot
and Patton counters with a low kick, right behind Barclay 's knee.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Patton misses the shot to the body. Barclay cracks Patton with a good jab. Barclay lands a glancing blow to the side of Patton's head. Barclay throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A slow jab from Patton misses its intended target. Barclay uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Patton has time to react. Barclay scores with a jab. Barclay scores with a leg kick.
Barclay digs a good body shot into Patton's ribs. Patton throws a lazy right hand but Barclay sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Barclay fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Some wild striking there from Barclay.
Patton appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Barclay darts in and clinches Patton up against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Barclay throws a head punch that misses. Barclay lands a nice elbow. Barclay has a couple of punches blocked by Patton.

Barclay lands with a right to the head. Barclay swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Patton struggles to land a body shot inside as Barclay controls his hands.
Barclay doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Barclay swings wildly with an uppercut but Patton uses good head movement to avoid it. Barclay digs a right hand into Patton's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Patton's gas tank. A right hook to the body lands for Barclay.
Barclay breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

It looks like Jack Patton has been cut. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. A big left from Barclay misses. Patton seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Barclay takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Patton takes a body punch but keeps moving. Barclay scores with a nice body kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Andy Barclay dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Barclay ducks under a wild hook from Patton. Patton takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Patton is rocked! Barclay measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Patton! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Andy Barclay! After winning the bout, Andy Barclay thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
