The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kandle thuds a left hand into Ramey's body.
Kandle blocks a leg kick.
Ramey does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Kandle throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Ramey counters by moving into the clinch.
Ramey lands a knee to the head.
Kandle is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Ramey creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Kandle's defenses.

Ramey has Kandle pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Kandle is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Ramey - that's hurt Kandle badly! Oh, another knee lands and Kandle is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Kandle doesn't seem to be complaining.
