Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Boyce Bouyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Mordino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Victor Mordino has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Boyce Bouyer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Victor Mordino!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mordino shoots in looking for a takedown but Bouyer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mordino's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Mordino fails to land the takedown.
Bouyer leaves Mordino with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Boyce Bouyer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Victor Mordino.
Mordino shoots in for a takedown but Bouyer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bouyer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mordino's waist but Mordino gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bouyer off to one side.
Mordino tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bouyer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mordino somewhat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mordino shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bouyer but Bouyer pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bouyer fires out a quick counter leg kick but Mordino just manages to avoid it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bouyer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mordino's waist but Mordino gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bouyer off to one side.
Mordino drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Bouyer defends it well.
Bouyer fails to land the takedown.
Bouyer stuffs the takedown attempt from Mordino. Mordino gets slowly back to his feet.
Bouyer attempts a counter takedown but Mordino avoids it well and moves away.
Mordino shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bouyer.
Bouyer thows a leg kick but Mordino checks it

and Mordino counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Bouyer looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Bouyer looking for submissions off his back.
Still in half guard, Mordino seems content to control.
Mordino trying to control from half guard but Bouyer is working away.
Mordino really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bouyer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mordino content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Bouyer tries to roll over but Mordino keeps him under control.

Mordino looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Mordino is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mordino wants to take a breather but Bouyer is having none of it.
Bouyer is trying to control but can't.

Mordino is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bouyer gets back to full guard.

Bouyer is looking for a triangle but Mordino pushes his legs off easily.

Bouyer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mordino doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mordino manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bouyer thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Mordino showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Mordino wants to pass the guard but Bouyer is keeping the position.
Bouyer might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Bouyer is trying to keep Mordino in close.
Bouyer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mordino is one step ahead there.
Mordino passes Bouyer's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mordino with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Mordino is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bouyer defends it well.
Bouyer is looking to control Mordino's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bouyer avoid being mounted?
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Victor Mordino will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


No luck with that takedown attempt from Mordino.
Bouyer throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bouyer defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mordino.

Bouyer shoots in and gets a takedown into Mordino's guard.
Mordino pulls Bouyer in close to prevent any damage.

Bouyer postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mordino is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bouyer, into his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bouyer is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Mordino rolls with it to try and escape but Bouyer cranks on the arm and Mordino is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Boyce Bouyer!
