Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bucky Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dark Horse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer misses with a two punch combination.
Horse rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hammer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hammer misses with a double jab
and Horse counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Horse tries to close the distance and clinch but Hammer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hammer moves into the clinch.
Hammer jumps guard but Horse stands there with Hammer around his waist. Hammer gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Horse wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Horse is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hammer scores with a shot to the side of Horse's head.
Hammer gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Horse.
Hammer jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Horse walks away with a smile on his face. Hammer gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hammer moves out of range of the body kick.
Hammer throws a series of punches but Horse moves out of range.

Dark Horse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horse throws a combination. Hammer tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Horse shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hammer as he jumps to the side.
Horse misses with a wild body shot.

Hammer shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hammer showed some decent athleticism there.
Horse is trying to control but can't.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Hammer is controlling the pace.
Hammer has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Hammer looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Hammer seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Horse throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hammer counters with a takedown into side control.
Hammer controls the position.
Horse tries to escape but Hammer is in control.
Hammer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Horse keeps working.
Horse wants to control but Hammer postures up.
Horse is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Hammer is staying active.
Hammer controls the position from side control.
Hammer is breathing heavily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hammer stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Horse rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hammer moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hammer closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Hammer is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

You can see the frustration on Horse's face as Hammer controls the position.
Hammer stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Hammer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Horse.
Horse will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Bucky Hammer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dark Horse.
Horse looks to clinch
and Hammer counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hammer would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Hammer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Horse throws a one two combo.
Hammer is looking to chop away at Horse's legs.

and Hammer counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Horse wants to get back to striking at distance but Hammer won't allow it.

Horse is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hammer is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Horse to the mat. Horse regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Horse wants to stand and escape but Hammer is having none of it.

Horse is working an open guard so Hammer takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Horse doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Hammer counters with a nice low kick that buckles Horse's knee momentarily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Horse looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hammer feints and as Horse raises his hands in defense, Hammer changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Horse doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Horse's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Horse escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hammer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Horse wants to stand but Hammer is controlling the position.
Hammer tries to free his leg and advance position but Horse is retaining full guard.
Horse manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Horse throws a nice looking combination but Hammer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hammer takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Horse moves into the clinch.
Horse gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hammer.
Horse wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hammer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Horse goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
A clash of legs there as Hammer blocks the low kick.
Hammer moves into the clinch successfully.

Horse is pressing down on Hammer's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Hammer counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Horse!
Hammer lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Horse is looking to improve his position but Hammer isn't that keen on the idea.
Horse sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Horse has one foot on Hammer's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

and Hammer counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Hammer misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

and Hammer counters with a thumping low kick.
Bucky Hammer is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Hammer clinches up with Horse and pushes him back against the cage.
Horse tries for a takedown but Hammer manages to get underhooks.
Hammer looking to throw knees to the head but Horse is blocking nicely.
Horse tries to break the clinch but Hammer is controlling the position.

Horse is pressed up against the cage. Hammer has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Horse down to the mat. Horse avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hammer throws a jab but it's blocked by Horse.
Dark Horse has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Bucky Hammer showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hammer, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
