Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Martin Holm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ivan Fedorov! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holm takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Holm uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fedorov. Holm swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Holm slips a jab from Fedorov. Fedorov looks to land a right hand but Holm moved out of range. Holm ducks right into an uppercut from Fedorov. Fedorov lands a nice shot that snaps Holm's head back.
Fedorov lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

and Holm counters with a stiff right hand. Holm has been working on his boxing with his coaches at KING OF PAIN in the buildup to the fight. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice body punch from Fedorov.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fedorov misses with a looping left. Fedorov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Holm was well out of range. Poor timing from Fedorov. Ivan Fedorov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fedorov throws an off balance right hand
and Holm counters with a stiff right hand. Holm keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Fedorov. Fedorov is looking to clinch. A quick step to the side and Holm tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Holm takes one to the side of the head.
Fedorov throws a sloppy body shot
and Holm counters with a one-two to the body. Fedorov swings for the body but Holm moves out of range.
Fedorov throws a body punch but Holm moves out of range. Fedorov moves to clinch but Holm breaks away letting Holm counter with a right hand. Fedorov looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fedorov throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Holm sees it coming and avoids it easily. Holm was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Fedorov connects with a body shot. Fedorov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Holm stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Holm uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Fedorov.
Holm is looking to counter punch. Holm slips a jab from Fedorov. A little feinted left hand from Holm on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Fedorov takes a swing at Holm's ribcage but misses. Fedorov rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Holm counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Holm loads up on a big right hand but Fedorov slips the punch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fedorov swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fedorov throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Holm sees it coming and avoids it easily. Holm drops Fedorov with a straight right hand, right on the button! Holm follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Martin Holm! Martin Holm decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
