The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maroney dodges the punch combination from Taylor.
Maroney avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Maroney doesn't manage to clinch there - Taylor circles away.
Taylor tries to bum rush Maroney with a series of wild strikes but Maroney uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Taylor has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Maroney throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Maroney takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Maroney is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Taylor is defending well.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Taylor misses the body punch
and Maroney counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Taylor badly! Maroney follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Taylor out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Maroney finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Boney Maroney!
