Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arshad Singh! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rajini tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Singh paws at him with a jab and circles away. Singh keeps the fight on the outside. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! The crowd cheers as Singh lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rajini doesn't seem phased though. Singh showed some decent athleticism there. Singh is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rajini sees it coming and defends easily. Singh throwing shots but Rajini is blocking nicely. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Good leg kick by Rajini there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Singh takes the fight into the clinch. Singh presses Rajini against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Singh lands a right hand that snaps the head of Rajini backwards. Rajini tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Rajini is fighting to break Singh's control of his arms but Singh is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rajini trying to control but Singh is working from the bottom. Singh pulls Rajini in to control the position. Singh has his foot on Rajini's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rajini works his way back into a safe position though. Rajini trying to control but Singh is working from the bottom. Rajini wants to stand but Singh is controlling his posture from full guard. Rajini is breathing heavily. Singh trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Singh manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Rajini takes an elbow to the temple. Rajini really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Singh landing knees to the body.

Singh turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Singh lands a nice forearm strike. Rajini takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Singh moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Singh lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Rajini down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rajini is trying to get back to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rajini prevents Singh from moving into mount. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Singh cracks Rajini with a big right hand but Rajini just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
A lull in the action here. Rajini is trying to get back to half guard. Singh moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Singh works to advance to full mount. Rajini defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Singh controlling from mount. Singh scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Rajini taking shots to the head. Singh cracks Rajini with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Rajini has left one of his arms exposed and Singh doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Rajini screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Arshad Singh!
