The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Meinhof looks to throw the jab but Quick is out of range.
Quick slips under a jab from Meinhof.
Quick swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Meinhof lands a really nice looking cross but Quick seems unphased.
A lazy left from Quick finds it's target.
It looks like Baader Meinhof has been cut.
Meinhof walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Quick throws a shot from downtown. Meinhof moves away and avoids it.
Meinhof throws a right and a left that Quick avoids nicely.
Quick appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Quick looks to land a left hand but Meinhof moved out of range nicely.
Meinhof lands with a nice body punch.
A swing and a miss from Meinhof.
A nice side step and Quick releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Meinhof scores with a jab. Quick acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Meinhof throws a lazy uppercut
and Quick counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Oooooh!!! Quick has knocked Meinhof down with a huge combo! Quick steps away and waves a wobbly Meinhof back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Meinhof is rocked!
Meinhof swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Quick counters with a big left hand that crumples Meinhof! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
