Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Bosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takashi Kadota (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chris Bosh has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 37 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris Bosh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Takashi Kadota!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Franklyn Lucas and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bosh thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kadota throws a head kick that Bosh semi-blocks.
Kadota lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bosh's sensitive parts.
Kadota lands a head shot.
Bosh tries a head kick but it misses.

Bosh shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bosh was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Bosh cracks Kadota with a big right hand but Kadota just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Bosh wants to control for a moment but Kadota uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bosh looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Bosh uses his free foot to push down on Kadota's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kadota.

The referee warns Kadota that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Kadota sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Bosh wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kadota keeps working.

Bosh is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kadota defends it well.

Bosh is trying to control. Kadota wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bosh lands a nice short elbow.

Bosh is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Kadota wants to control but Bosh is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Kadota is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Bosh is staying active.
Bosh is trying to control the action in half guard but Kadota is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Bosh is looking for a kimura but Kadota is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bosh to get the leverage.

Bosh is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Kadota knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Bosh is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kadota has escaped the position, nice work there.
Bosh has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bosh misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

Bosh tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bosh has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Kadota manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Kadota takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bosh takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Bosh shoots in looking for a takedown but Kadota manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bosh's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Bosh looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Kadota has picked Bosh up and slammed him! Bosh can't keep hold of the triangle and Kadota manages to pass to side control!
Kadota lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Bosh down.
Kadota gets to mount! Bosh was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Bosh is wriggling around trying to escape.

Kadota is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Bosh can't escape the position.
Bosh wants to control but Kadota is having none of it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kadota looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.


Bosh is rocked!
Kadota postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Bosh in real trouble here! The ref calls for Bosh to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Takashi Kadota!
Takashi Kadota was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
