Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stelio Kontos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksey Borodin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kontos's entrance music is Stelio Kontos. A fine choice. Aleksey Borodin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Stelio Kontos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aleksey Borodin! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Phil Schofield and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kontos fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Borodin sprawls well initially but Kontos persists and gets the takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Borodin trying to control here.
Kontos prevents Borodin from improving his position. Borodin wants to get back to his feet. Borodin gets back to full guard.
Borodin tries to land a sweep but no joy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kontos sitting in guard here, content to control. Borodin is controlling Kontos's posture. Kontos content to stall in guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Kontos has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Aleksey Borodin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kontos clinches up against the cage. Kontos fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kontos gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Borodin regains guard.
Kontos seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Borodin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kontos is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kontos controls from within his opponent's guard. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Borodin has eaten all the pies! Borodin wants to stand up but Kontos is controlling him. Kontos won't allow Borodin to sweep him here. Borodin looking to control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Borodin digs a good hook to Kontos's body.
Nice defenses there by Kontos. Borodin looks to land a right hand but Kontos moved out of range. Nice defenses there by Kontos. Borodin lands an overhand right. Kontos gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Borodin swings wildly with an uppercut but Kontos uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kontos lands with a left to the head.
It looks like Aleksey Borodin has been cut. Kontos lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Borodin backwards. Borodin blocks a body shot from Kontos. Kontos misses with a punch to the body.
Kontos has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Borodin is trying to keep an underhook but Kontos manages to get the takedown into half guard. Borodin pushes Kontos off and gets back to his feet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kontos takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. The fight moves into the clinch position. Kontos gets a trip takedown into half guard. Kontos takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Kontos wants to pass the guard but Borodin is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Stelio Kontos will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Aleksey Borodin's cut. That's time! Back to the action!
Borodin stuns Kontos with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Kontos moves forwards but Borodin connects with a nice, crisp jab.
It looks like Stelio Kontos has been cut. Borodin listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Jab from Borodin. Kontos ducks right into an uppercut from Borodin. Borodin scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kontos in his tracks. Borodin with a jab. Borodin throws a good cross that connects.
Stelio Kontos's cut is getting worse. Borodin lands a nice shot that snaps Kontos's head back.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Borodin fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Borodin cracks a nice hook into Kontos's ribs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Borodin wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Borodin punishes Kontos's body with a nice straight punch. Borodin lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Kontos pushes Borodin up against the cage in a clinch. A short uppercut from Borodin. A nice left hand lands by Borodin.
Stelio Kontos's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Kontos gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kontos looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Stelio Kontos overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Borodin wants to improve his position but Kontos is controlling well.

Kontos stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kontos closes the distance and clinches. Kontos lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Borodin backwards. A body shot lands from Borodin.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Kontos. Borodin is pushing Kontos up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Borodin has had enough of the clinch but Kontos keeps him there for the moment. Borodin doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Borodin swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Borodin is looking to break free of the clinch but Kontos has double underhooks. Borodin blocking some punches.
Kontos scores with a nice hook to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kontos tries to throw a body punch but Borodin avoids it by throwing Kontos back against the cage. Borodin goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Kontos gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Borodin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Kontos content to control rather than advance. Borodin tries to get to full guard but Kontos has control of the leg. Kontos controlling the action here. Borodin is looking to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Borodin wants to get back to full guard but Kontos has mounted him! Borodin is in all sorts of trouble here.
Kontos sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Borodin is desperately trying to improve his position but Kontos has a good base and remains in mount. Kontos takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Borodin sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aleksey Borodin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Kontos on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A shot to the liver by Borodin. Beautiful body shot. Borodin has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Borodin looks to land a left hand but Kontos moved out of range nicely. Kontos drops down looking for a counter takedown but Borodin sprawls and moves away. A cross from Borodin lands. Borodin with a nice cross. Kontos throws a sloppy body shot
and Borodin counters with a straight right hand. Borodin scores with a jab to the jaw.
Jeez, Stelio Kontos's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Kontos fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Borodin, pushing him back against the cage. Borodin misses with some punches.
Kontos tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Borodin is trying to break the clinch but Kontos has him pressed against the cage. Kontos blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Kontos gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. This has been an exciting period of action! Borodin trying to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kontos stops Borodin from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Borodin has his feet on Kontos's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Aleksey Borodin seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kontos takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Kontos tries to clinch but Borodin moves out of range. Borodin sizes up Kontos with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Stelio Kontos's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Aleksey Borodin! Our winner, Aleksey Borodin, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
