Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Albert Pagara! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Max Rockatansky! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pagara tries to keep at a distance but Rockatansky has taken the fight into the clinch. Pagara's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Albert Pagara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pagara throws a shot from downtown. Rockatansky moves away and avoids it. Rockatansky now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Rockatansky misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pagara.
Pagara lands a jab to Rockatansky's midsection. Rockatansky throws a body shot but no joy. Rockatansky drives through and clinches with Pagara against the cage.
Pagara tries to break the clinch but Rockatansky is controlling the position. Rockatansky keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Pagara's efforts to push away. Pagara breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pagara digs a good body shot into Rockatansky's ribs. Pagara catches Rockatansky with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
It looks like Max Rockatansky has been cut. Rockatansky shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rockatansky showed some decent athleticism there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rockatansky prevents Pagara from improving his position.

Pagara is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Rockatansky connects with a nice short shot to Pagara's temple. Rockatansky is trying to control the action in half guard but Pagara is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Pagara has hold of Rockatansky's hands but Rockatansky slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Rockatansky controlling the action here. Rockatansky seems to be working for a kimura but Pagara defends the submission attempt. Rockatansky landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Pagara tries to kick Rockatansky off but Rockatansky keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Rockatansky slips a nice elbow through Pagara's hands, connecting with Pagara's forehead. Pagara tries to get to full guard but Rockatansky has control of the leg.

Rockatansky thows a huge punch but Pagara dodges it nicely.

Pagara is rocked! Rockatansky winds up and cracks Pagara with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Oh Pagara is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Rockatansky scores with a big shot! Pagara's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Pagara! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
