Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nate Derks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Aguilero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Derks comes to the cage accompanied by The Reckless And The Brave. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Chad Aguilero enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nate Derks! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Aguilero! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Derks is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Derks throws a sloppy head kick and Aguilero moves out of range easily. Aguilero uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Derks.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Aguilero. Aguilero lands a head kick!
Derks misses the body punch and Aguilero counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Nate Derks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Derks tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Aguilero was well out of range. Poor timing from Derks. Derks avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Derks fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Aguilero to the ground. Derks is now in Aguilero's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Derks wants to control from the top but Aguilero keeps moving. Derks passes into half guard. Derks sitting and controlling from the half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aguilero is trying to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aguilero is trying to maintain the position but Derks is very close to passing his half guard. Aguilero has hold of Derks's hands but Derks slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Derks is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Derks is landing with some decent strikes but Aguilero is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Derks looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Derks scoring with strikes but Aguilero is staying in there. Derks avoids the attempt from Aguilero to control. Derks scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Aguilero?
Derks putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Derks has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Aguilero's face.
Aguilero is rocked! Derks lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Aguilero is still in real trouble! Can Derks finish him? Derks looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Derks lands a big elbow - Aguilero is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Aguilero is forced to tap out!
