Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Eric Esch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Doss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eric Esch!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dick Doss!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doss gets tackled into the ropes by Esch. Esch maintains the clinch.
Doss struggles to land a body shot inside as Esch controls his hands.
Doss stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Esch breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Doss throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Esch was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Doss scores with a jab to the jaw.
Esch tries to keep at a distance but Doss has taken the fight into the clinch.
Doss is leaning against Esch and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Doss digs a right hand underneath Esch's ribcage. Esch let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Esch is breathing heavily.
A nice left hand lands by Doss.
Doss lands a shoulder strike.
Doss breaks the clinch.
Doss changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Doss stuns Esch with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Esch keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Esch is looking to counter punch.
Doss connects with the punch.
Doss connects with a looping right hand.
It looks like Eric Esch has been cut.
Doss swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Esch.
Esch shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Doss scores with a nice strike.
The crowd cheers as Doss lands an impressive looking overhand right. Esch doesn't seem phased though.
Doss closes the distance and clinches.
Doss lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Eric Esch's cut is getting worse.
Doss lands a left hand.
Doss cracks Esch with a big uppercut, right up the middle and Esch goes down! Oh, he's hurt! He's bigtime hurt! The referee is giving him a chance to get back to his feet - 4,5,6,7, no, he's called it off! Esch wasn't going to make it and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Dick Doss!

Dick Doss bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
