Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Craig Clifton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Bueller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eric Bueller acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 16 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Craig Clifton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eric Bueller!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clifton shoots in for a double leg but Bueller sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bueller throws a hook but Clifton avoids it easily.
Clifton moves out of range as Bueller throws a body kick.
Bueller goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Bueller fails to land with a series of punches.
Clifton closes the distance and clinches up with Bueller, looking for a takedown. Clifton pushes Bueller against the cage but Bueller circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bueller fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Clifton sprawls well initially but Bueller persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Bueller thows a huge punch but Clifton dodges it nicely.

Clifton is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Bueller's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Bueller's back!

Clifton is persistently looking for the submission but Bueller is defending it well.
Clifton is not going to allow Bueller to sit and survive in this position.

Bueller is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Clifton off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bueller wants to hold on but Clifton pushes him away.

Bueller sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Clifton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bueller keeps working.
Clifton passes the guard and advances to mount!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


A punch lands to the side of Clifton 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Nice straight punches there by Bueller. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bueller.
Bueller misses with a few strikes there.
Bueller throws a nice head kick!
Clifton goes for a double leg but Bueller avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bueller continues to drive forward.
Bueller swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Eric Bueller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clifton blocks a head kick by Bueller.
Craig Clifton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Bueller is trying hard to land a takedown here. Clifton sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clifton shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bueller but Bueller pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The fighters circling - Bueller throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Bueller might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Clifton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bueller preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Bueller not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Bueller throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Clifton thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Clifton wants to control from the top but Bueller keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Clifton feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bueller wriggles free and stands up.
Bueller has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Clifton uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bueller.
Clifton takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Clifton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bueller tries to avoid it but Clifton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bueller to the ground. Bueller escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Clifton takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.


It looks like Craig Clifton has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Clifton takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Clifton shoots in for a double leg but Bueller sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
It seemed like Bueller was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Bueller gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Clifton tries to pull guard but Bueller forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Clifton jumps guard but Bueller stands there with Clifton around his waist. Clifton gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Bueller pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Clifton shoots for a takedown but Bueller saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bueller lands with an uppercut that bounces Clifton off the cage and back into range.
Clifton shoots in looking for a takedown but Bueller manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Clifton's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bueller connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Clifton's hands.


Clifton is rocked!
Bueller lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Clifton out cold! Clifton is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Eric Bueller!
Our winner, Eric Bueller, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
