The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Popov tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Gunn turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Gunn thuds his shin into the meat of Popov's side.
A left and a right from Gunn both land. Nice combination.
Popov is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Gunn.
Gunn misses with a head kick.
The fighters circle momentarily. Popov darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Gunn connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

and Popov counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gunn thinking.

and Popov counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Popov pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Gunn back to the cage. Popov follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Gunn is rocked!
Popov fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Gunn to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Gunn looks to clinch but Popov throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Gunn taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
