Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zod Wettin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Jetstrean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Zod Wettin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sam Jetstrean!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wettin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jetstrean swivels and escapes.
Wettin darts in looking for a takedown but Jetstrean gets double underhooks and turns Wettin into the cage.
A right-left combo lands from Jetstrean.
Wettin blocks a head kick by Jetstrean.

Wettin has taken the fight to the clinch.

Jetstrean breaks from the clinch.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Jetstrean breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jetstrean smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Jetstrean throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Jetstrean tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Wettin is looking for a counter combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jetstrean misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wettin is looking to counter the offense by Jetstrean and move into the clinch.

Wettin is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jetstrean's half guard.
Wettin is controlling the pace.

Wettin wants to control but Jetstrean is keeping him busy.
Wettin not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Wettin trying to advance position but Jetstrean counters by regaining guard.
Jetstrean can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Wettin controls the pace.
Wettin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jetstrean utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wettin has gone for a leg lock! Jetstrean slips out almost immediately though and dives into Wettin's guard.

Wettin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Wettin is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Jetstrean tries to get to full guard but Wettin has control of the leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wettin content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Jetstrean is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Wettin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jetstrean with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.


It looks like Sam Jetstrean has been cut.

Jetstrean slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Wettin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Wettin wants to control from the top but Jetstrean keeps moving.
Jetstrean looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wettin is one step ahead there.
Wettin sitting in guard here, content to control.
Jetstrean keeping moving, preventing Wettin from controlling successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Wettin pushes down on Jetstrean's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Jetstrean wants to control but Wettin is keeping busy.
Wettin wants to control but Jetstrean is keeping him busy.

Wettin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jetstrean is just riding it out for now. Wettin eventually gives up the hold.
Wettin not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wettin walks into a left hand.
Jetstrean pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jetstrean tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
An inside leg kick lands from Jetstrean.
Jetstrean throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Wettin shoots in for a takedown but Jetstrean shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
We've been told by Wettin's head coaches at FIERCE that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wettin.
Despite the aggression on Jetstrean's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Horrible takedown attempt by Wettin or perhaps it was just good defense by Jetstrean, which made it look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zod Wettin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wettin avoids a punch combination nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A solid leg kick lands there for Jetstrean.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Jetstrean. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Jetstrean misses with a two punch combination.
Zod Wettin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jetstrean lands a jab-cross combination.
Sam Jetstrean seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Jetstrean fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wettin was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
The fighters circling - Jetstrean throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jetstrean cracks Wettin with an open hand slap.
Jetstrean looks to land a left hand but Wettin moved out of range nicely.
Wettin appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Wettin uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jetstrean.
Jetstrean throws a head kick that half lands.


It looks like Zod Wettin has been cut.
Jetstrean keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jetstrean lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Jetstrean wobbles Wettin with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Jetstrean dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Wettin to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sam Jetstrean!
