Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luther Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salomon Nevalainen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Thor's Hammer!. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Salomon Nevalainen enters the cage!

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Michael Johnstone and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nevalainen doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Anderson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Nevalainen's guard.
Anderson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nevalainen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Nevalainen is adopting a defensive guard.
Anderson is looking to work some ground and pound but Nevalainen has wrist control.
Nevalainen is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nevalainen bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Anderson's guard.

Nevalainen slips a nice elbow through Anderson's hands, connecting with Anderson's forehead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nevalainen throws a strike but Anderson avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Anderson is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Nevalainen frees his head nicely. Oh but Anderson has switched to an armbar! Nevalainen is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
