The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mooseheads misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
A quick step to the side and Andrey tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mooseheads fails with a takedown attempt.
Mooseheads takes a jab right on the kisser.
Andrey scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Mooseheads goes for a double leg but Andrey avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Andrey continues to drive forward.
Malutin Andrey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mac Mooseheads.
Mooseheads uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Andrey.

Mooseheads decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mooseheads prevents Andrey from standing back up.

Andrey somehow manages to escape the mount and get back to his feet!
Mooseheads shoots for a takedown but Andrey saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Nice takedown defense from Andrey. No joy for Mooseheads on that attempt.

and Andrey counters with a big head kick but Mooseheads shrugs it off.
