Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between David Datsik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Mewes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Datsik's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Classic. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, David Datsik! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Mewes! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Datsik has taken the fight to the clinch.
Datsik gets through Mewes's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Datsik lands a nice uppercut. Datsik keeps control of Mewes as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Mewes has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Datsik avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Mewes blocking some punches.
Mewes is trying to pull guard but Datsik has him pressed against the cage. Mewes looking for a takedown. David Datsik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Mewes. Mewes is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Datsik is defending well. A nice left hand lands by Datsik.
Datsik dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Mewes tries to pull guard but Datsik forces him back to his feet, against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Datsik escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Mewes throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Datsik on the side of the head. Datsik lands with a kick to the temple. Mewes shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Mewes takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Datsik stuns Mewes with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Datsik connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Mewes's hands. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mewes looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Mewes has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Mewes decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Mewes trying to control the action but Datsik is working from the bottom. Mewes is trying to work for a kimura but Datsik is defending well.

Mewes content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Datsik is trying to control but can't.
Mewes seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Datsik does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Datsik flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Datsik looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mewes content to control rather than advance. Datsik is trying to control but can't.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Mewes fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Mewes misses with a takedown attempt and Datsik counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Mewes thinking. Mewes closes this distance looking for a takedown but Datsik circles away. A quick step to the side and Datsik tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Mewes shoots in for a takedown but Datsik shows good takedown defense. A nice inside leg kick there by Datsik. That's going to slow Mewes down. Datsik dips to his left and cracks Mewes with an uppercut! Sloppy strikes from Mewes. Those never looked like landing. Mewes swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Datsik is looking to counter punch. Datsik thows a left - swing and a miss! Datsik throws a sloppy head kick and Mewes moves out of range easily. Mewes drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Datsik defends it well. A shot to the liver by Datsik. Beautiful body shot. Datsik thumps Mewes with a low kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mewes looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. David Datsik is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Datsik misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mewes.
Mewes fails to land the takedown. Datsik is looking to wear down Mewes with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Mewes lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Mewes fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Datsik avoids it really well and circles away. Datsik throws a shot from downtown. Mewes moves away and avoids it. Mewes avoids a kick to the body.
Mewes has his takedown stuffed and Datsik counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Datsik stalls. Datsik working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Datsik dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mewes is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. That's one minute gone in the round. Mewes is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Datsik is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Mewes has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Datsik is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Mewes tries for a takedown but Datsik manages to get underhooks.
Mewes breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Datsik lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Jason Mewes is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Datsik throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mewes sees it coming and avoids it easily. Datsik fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mewes manages to avoid it. Mewes shoots for a double leg takedown but Datsik sprawls well. He's pushed Mewes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Mewes changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Datsik looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Datsik can't do much from the bottom here. Datsik tries to bench press Mewes off him but Mewes keeps the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mewes working away. Datsik is looking for a sweep. Mewes throwing shots but missing, from side control. Mewes is looking to take a break and control but Datsik is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Mewes in side control, just content to control the action for now. You can see the frustration on Datsik's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Datsik seems a little lost for a moment, as Mewes dominates the positioning. Datsik is trying to get back to half guard. Datsik is trying to control Mewes's posture but Mewes avoids it. Mewes just content to control the position. Datsik is trying to improve his position. Mewes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Datsik keeps working. Datsik is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Datsik trying to control here.

Datsik throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Datsik misses with a body shot.
Mewes throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Datsik's waist but Datsik gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mewes off to one side. David Datsik dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Datsik enables Mewes to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Datsik manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Datsik trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Mewes wants to control from the top but Datsik keeps moving. Datsik looking to control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Mewes with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Datsik to score with a decent uppercut. Datsik is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mewes defends well. Datsik is pulling down on Mewes's head to control his posture. Mewes is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Datsik lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Mewes has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Mewes and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Jason Mewes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mewes feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
And that's the end of the fight! David Datsik showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Datsik, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The crowd seemed to love his humility. Jason Mewes was interviewed post fight and said 'I'm young and I'll be back, better and more awesome!'.
